Tractor Paddock Navigator (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a public vineyard issue mapping application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide the app’s core features:

a) Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your email address and login credentials (or other authentication details)

• Basic account information needed to manage and secure your account

b) Location Data

We collect GPS location data when you use the app to:

• Allow you to map vineyard issues accurately

• Place markers and records in the correct geographic location

Location data is used only for app functionality and not for advertising.

c) Photos and Media

If you choose to take or upload photos:

• We store the images you attach to vineyard issues or records

• These images are associated with your account and your mapped data

d) App Data and Usage

We may collect:

• Data you enter into the app (such as issue notes, locations, and photos)

• Basic technical information such as device type and app version, for operational purposes

We do not use third-party crash reporting or analytics tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the app’s features

• Create and manage your user account

• Store and display vineyard issues on the map

• Sync your data with our cloud servers

• Maintain and improve the reliability and performance of the app

• Provide support if you contact us

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely in the cloud. This includes:

• Account information

• Mapped locations

• Photos and records you create in the app

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

We may share limited data only:

• With service providers that help us operate the app (for example, cloud hosting providers), strictly for providing the service

5. Permissions

Vineyard Issue Mapper may request access to:

• Location: To map and record vineyard issues accurately

• Camera / Photos: To allow you to take and attach photos to issues

These permissions are used only for app functionality and only when you choose to use those features.

6. Your Choices and Control

You can:

• Access and update your account information

• Control location and camera permissions through your device settings

• Stop using the app at any time

Please note that disabling certain permissions may limit some features of the app.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, your data will be removed or anonymised within a reasonable period, unless we are required to keep it for legal reasons.

8. Children’s Privacy

Vineyard Issue Mapper is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the app or on our website, and the “Last updated” date will be updated accordingly.
