Article: Cherry Season

Cherry Season

Cherry Season

We love our wine but we also love Cherries! With 1000 trees planted and several different varieties available, we love offering Pick Your Own cherries to visitors to our region.

Our trees are young but have been producing some beautiful cherries! The season this year started off well but was short due to heavy, prolonged rains, late in the season. We can protect against birds, disease, even hail, but rainfall is the one area of farming we can't control!

C'est La Vie - you have to take the good years with the bad in farming, a short but sweet season. Expect to reopen for picking in late 2024, fingers crossed the rain is early in the season this time!
