A little break in France!

After a crazy year (15 weddings, 4 new vineyards, HUGE harvest and of course a new baby!), we took a much needed break for 5 weeks and closed the Cellar Door - a first for us! 

Heading overseas to France where Jon's love of wine began, we took the first few weeks to recharge our batteries before heading out to some of the most prestigious vineyards and wineries in Bordeaux. It was an incredible experience and we learnt so much, the level of detail some of the big Chateaus have is mind blowing (and warrants the heft price tags on their wines!). 

Coming back now we feel re-energized, relaxed and excited about the year ahead - we may have to make this little break an annual thing!
